Setting goals is great

Setting goals is great.

But goals alone are worthless without a plan to achieve them.

Imagine you want to learn another technology, become a high-value developer, or land a high-impact programming job.

That's fantastic, but you need to deeply reflect on *how* you plan to achieve that goal.

I prefer to break down goals into concrete and easy-to-follow steps. Something like:

→ Every day I will read 3 articles about another technology.
→ Every day I will spend at least 30 minutes writing code.
→ Every day I will submit 5 job applications and connect with 5 people online.

Having concrete actions makes it much easier to reach your goals, as you can see the results of your progress instead of getting frustrated by not moving forward.
