I had the pleasure of being interviewed for Receta del exito about how to conduct interviews as a software developer.
Here are some interview tips and the link to the interview in the first comment.
- Being a great professional and knowing how to sell yourself are ways to create opportunities and have a higher market value.
- When looking for a job, you need to conduct market research and analyze the competition.
- You must define how to apply marketing, sales, and personal branding knowledge to yourself when selling to companies and achieving success.
- Job interviews should be seen as something fun; instead of viewing them with frustration, see what you can learn. The interview itself and the outcome are not that important; detach yourself and consider what is best for you, what questions were asked, what answers you gave, how you could improve, and how to practice so it doesn't happen again. It's a constant iteration.
- In job interviews, we should not disclose numbers, as we lose power in negotiations. If asked about your salary, respond that you would like to discuss that later, depending on how the interview goes.
To improve your interviews, on February 10th, I will be giving a free class to help software engineers enhance their careers.
Send me a message or comment "class" if you wish to attend.
